We welcome you to our Christian church in Sleaford and our
pages here on the internet. If you live nearby and
would like to know more about what Christians believe and why, then come along
and have a chat with us. We and local churches periodically
offer a course that can allow you to discover more in a relaxed
atmosphere. If you are a young person, look at what we
offer you by clicking here. We welcome your
comments, questions or requests for more information. Even better, why not
drop by the church and speak to us! You can call by on a Sunday or
alternatively on Monday, Thursday and Saturday mornings - call in and speak to one of the people
serving. The URC (United Reformed
Church) beliefs can be found here. If you live further away, then you can still contact
us. Here's a map showing where we are. If you live in, or are visiting, the Sleaford area and are looking for a church to worship at and
Christians to share fellowship with, we welcome you to come along to any of our
services. If you are a return visitor, you may want to check out
what's happening on our diary page. We also let

United Reformed Church Beliefs
The United Reformed Church (URC)
Sleaford URC is a member church of the United Reformed Church.
Sunday morning - 10.45am -> 12.15pm
Morning worship is held in the main church and is our more 'traditional'
service. Singing is a mix of older and relatively modern hymns, accompanied by
organ and by our music group. Communion is normally celebrated on the second
Sunday morning each month.
Sunday evening - 6.00pm -> 7.00 pm (except
Summer months)
Evening worship is less formal and is also held in the church. There is
more likely to be modern rather than traditional hymns sung, accompanied by the
organ, piano or guitar. Communion is normally celebrated on the fourth Sunday
evening each month. Once a month we worship with our Methodist friends, one
month worship is held here and the next there. On the 5th Sunday of a month, the
churches in the town join together for a joint service (see our 'diary'
for venues)
This page is for the younger people in our congregation and for those young people visiting us here on the internet or in person.
Ages 5 and upwards:
We have active Boys and Girls Brigades that meet weekly (term time) in the church hall. Split into different age groups you're sure to have fun as you mix with others of your own age.
BEE - our Kenyan exchange home page.
On Sunday we have a Junior Church that leaves the main congregation to follow it's own activities in the Hall.
We are always pleased to welcome young people wanting to play a part in any and all areas of church life.
Our Monday sports, and Tuesday short mat bowls evenings are open to responsible young people (Note that there is no specific supervision of, or responsibility for, young people on these sports evenings).
Under 5's
Under 5's are welcome in our Junior Church, and parents/carers are welcome to accompany them if required.
Baby Dazzlers - a group for expecting mothers and babies up to one year old meets on Monday mornings.
Bobby Dazzlers - an initiative of the church, this carer and toddler group meets on a Monday afternoon (except August) in the hall.
