Annual Ramble/Sponsored Walk - 21st July 2002
Twenty of us left the church at 2.30 on another (it was last year too) cloudy Sunday afternoon, and headed west along the river Slea. The previous day had seen almost non-stop rain, so you can see we came prepared with coats and brollies at the ready. Thankfully, except for a small shower they were not really needed.

The river Slea seemed to be drier this year than last, despite the recent rains we have had. We continued through to Rauceby, stopping there for refreshments provided by Grenville at 3:45. We saw more cars this year, but thankfully most slowed as the passed us on the single track road. Here we are stretching out into the distance as we head the back way to Ancaster!

Arriving for a very plentiful and varied buffet tea - the last of us arriving at 5:15pm, we sit down and await the start of the service which saw over 30 of us attending this year. Our thanks to Geoff, Cath and the others who helped with tea and organisation
