Welcome
to the home page of our Christian church, the
United
Reformed Church
in the
small market town of Sleaford, which is in the county
of Lincolnshire in England.
We have now joined with Sleaford Community Church and have created a new Church
This site will no longer be updated please use the link above to access the new site.
Times have changed and so has
the
Church - old or young, single or married, comfortable or finding the
going hard, you can be certain of a warm welcome
at Sleaford URC. We seek to follow Jesus Christ and want to share His
love and
good news with you.
| The purpose of Sleaford United Reformed Church is to bring glory to God by proclaiming life, promoting growth and providing service to our neighbours, both near and far. |
We welcome you to our Christian church in Sleaford and our pages here on the internet.
If you live nearby and would like to know more about what Christians believe and why, then come along and have a chat with us. We and local churches periodically offer a course that can allow you to discover more in a relaxed atmosphere.
We welcome your comments, questions or requests for more information. Even better, why not drop by the church and speak to us! You can call by on a Sunday or alternatively on Monday, Thursday and Saturday mornings - call in and speak to one of the people serving.
The URC (United Reformed Church) beliefs can be found here.
If you live further away, then you can still contact us. Our links page will direct you to more information too. We are here.
If you live in, or are visiting, the Sleaford area and are looking for a church to worship at and Christians to share fellowship with, we welcome you to come along to any of our services.
If you are a return visitor, you may want to check out what's happening on our diary page. Or go straight to the regular's page.
We also let our hall to local organisations.

| The work to redevelop our frontage onto Southgate to become a "Multi Use Centre" for the benefit of the community is now complete. This is one of a network of Multi Use Centres being developed in Lincolnshire whereby rural communities can benefit from increased services. A Multi Use Centre is a place where organisations can promote their services in one location either in a face to face situation or through the provision of advice and information leaflets. The centres are being developed under a 'Hub and Spoke' principle where a centrally located 'Hub' will work with a number of other local communities and service providers as 'Spokes'.
